Kimono Love

I had been dreaming to wear a kimono when I saw Aya Ueto, a famous female artist in Japan wore it. Before I googled it, I have the wrong perspective that it was meant for females. Only then I found that males, children, kendo and even sumo wear it!

Kimono is a traditional costume in Japan, a complete kimono outfit, with kimono, undergarments, obi, ties, socks, sandals and accessories can exceed US$20,000. It’s quite expensive for an unemployed high school student, so I shall compromise by looking at it until I have enough money in my piggy bank to fork out that amount of money. Nevertheless, this doesn’t stop kimono-lovers from trying kimonos and wearing them.

Asides in Japan, people outside Japan seem to grow an endless enthusiasm towards kimono. This is because people can wear it in either formal occasion or on a daily basis. You can wear kimono in any function, it’s all up to you.
