Panasonic taking control of Sanyo.

This has taken quite some time to get finalized but its official that Panasonic has taken control of the Japanese beleaguered Sanyo Corporation.

The shareholding got cleared around last year since then the deal was not complete.

But as of today the company which was founded by Konosuke Matsushita is the owner of around 50.19% of Sanyo for the price he bargained of approximately ¥404 billion ($4.6 billion).

This gives Panasonic a good hold at Sanyo’s battery and also their solar technology.
This seems to be like a big advantage for Panasonic. We hope to see some good stuff from them.
