Nexus One hardware costs $174.15 – iSuppli

According to iSuppli reports, the cost of materials needed to make the Nexus One amounts to $174.15.

iSuppli is a research firm and has openly congratulated internet giant Google on keeping a cost of materials comparable to most recent smartphones.

The research company also noted that the costliest of all materials are the 1GHz Snapdragon ($30.50), as well as the AMOLED display ($23.50) and memory ($20.40) from Samsung.

Other costs include :
- the Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi transceiver cost $8.20,
- $12.50 for the 5 megapixel camera.
- $17.50 for the touchscreen capability.
