Computer Worth $35 Unveiled In India
India has unveiled a $35 computer, which is a prototype, and is a part of the program which has aimed to provide connectivity to each and ever student and teacher at very affordable prices. Kapil Sibal, Human Resource Development Minister, unveiled the computer in Delhi today.
The Ministry has stated, that in the near future the price may even fall to $10 a piece. The main goal is to provide connectivity to all the university’s and collages in India. The country has developed vastly in many fields after the economy flourished from 1990. Now India is heading towards its next goal in making history in technology.
This move has come, because India wants to take the connectivity of Internet and telecommunication to a different level by making it accessible for every one in India. By 2012, India plans to connect 250000 villages across India via Internet, which is a very big leap in technology advancement.
