Will IPL2’s First Games Follow the T20 Pattern?

Those who have been watching T20 tournaments over the last few seasons might have noticed a strange trend.

 

The opening games of such T20 tournaments begin with a real banger of sorts with batsmen going absolutely crazy.

 

In the T20 World Cup, we had the first match wherein Chris Gayle from the West Indies scored a century that would be remembered for decades.

 

In the first game of IPL1, Brendon McCullum, playing for KKR, scored a blistering century to help his team score an easy victory.

 

Wonder, if the first two games of IPL2 too will follow suit? There are already reports hinting that MSD (Dhoni) is thinking about batting up-the-order to score more against the newer ball.
