Nissan motors is recalling 650,000 Altimas and Sentras.

There's a sensor that can overheat and cause the car to stop when moving at low speeds, thus increasing the risk of an accident.

The recall includes

2002,  2005, 2006 Altima and Sentras with 2.5 cylinder engines.

The program is voluntary and there have been no reports of anyone being injured yet.

We reckon it is cheaper to deal with the recall of 650,000 cars than the America

n jackpot legal system. One person gets hurt and Nissan will go under when a jury awards a couple of hundred million, that sort of thing.nissan.altima.jpg

Japanese cars, known for high quality, are taking a hit.

Wait, it's Toyota and Honda that are known for quality.

Nissan dealerships are waiting. Tell them the ECM needs reprogramming.

What do you think of Japanese quality?
