The Japanese launch will follow within that year.

The SUV will be manufactured at Nissan's Kyushu factory in Kanda, Fukuoka Prefecture.

Production will start at 6,000-7,000 units a month, then 10,000 a month once domestic sales begin.

So far 500,000 Muranos have been sold in 130 countries since the model's 2002 release.

Oh boy, a newer version of a gas guzzling hog is coming. Most likely, $4.00/gallon gas prices are higher will be here to greet it.

When will American's learn?
