Marie Ann Umali, 22 – who will represent Philippines at the Miss World 2009 pageant – has a degree in management and tourism and is also a student at the Entrepreneur School of Asia.

She loves cooking and her dream is to have a bestselling cookbook and run a chain of Italian restaurants.

Marie’s hobbies are badminton and dance and is a fan of pop and R’n’B music.

Her motto is “Live life to the full and each day as if it’s your last”.
