Miss Ireland Laura Patterson is a favorite at the Miss World 2009 pageant

Laura Patterson will be representing Ireland  at the Miss World 2009 pageant in South Africa in  December.

Laura Patterson , who was a former winner of Miss Teen Ireland, will be taking a sabbatical from studying her Law degree to fulfill her responsibility as Miss Ireland.

The blonde beauty that first became famous when she won Miss Teen Ireland in 2005.

The 5 ft 8 beauty, who is model for Converse and Assets, also looks forward to bringing the crown back to Ireland.
