Miss International Pageant 2009

The 49th Miss International pageant will be held at the Sichuan International Tennis Hotel, Chengdu, Sichuan, China on November 28, 2009. The event will see 71 beauties from across the world competing for the crown.

Earlier,the pageant was planned to take place at the The Venetian Macao in Macau on November 7, 2009.
Unfortunately,the host committee cancelled it and it got shifted to China.

The current Miss International – Alejandra Andreu of Spain will crown her successor at the Miss International Finale.

The Miss International pageant takes place just 2 weeks before the much awaited Miss World 2009 pageant in Johannesburg. This has given us all something to look forward to in the last months of this year.

There already seem to be a few favorites for the Miss International crown, with Miss India, Miss France, Miss Brazil, Miss Venezuela and Miss Mexico topping the list.
