Left-arm Bowlers Might Hold The Key in IPL2009

It was Nathan Bracken of Australia who is increasingly making critics believe that left-arm bowling is probably the best solution to start butchering batsmen from scoring heavily.

Further, this theory has been supported with the constant rise of Zaheer Khan as one of the most prolific one-day bowlers in the last two seasons.

Now, this impact is being felt in the IPL too.

Not that the IPL teams aren’t aware of the damage that can be caused by swinging, left-armers. Remember Sohail Tanveer from the RR last year?

More left-arm options in the form of RP Singh (Chargers), Nehra (Delhi Daredevils), Abdullah (KKR) and Akram Khan (Team Jaipur) are now gaining importance.
