You can count on the Kolkata Knight Riders to make sure that they occupy the IPL news headlines for all the wrong reasons.

It has been just a few days since their multi-captain theory gained flak from every credible cricket expert.

Now, on the eve of the IPLII getting underway, they have gone back on their own words.

Apparently, now Saurav Ganguly is no longer among the list of captains and instead one permanent captain has been chosen — New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum.

This comes just days after Buchanan and SRK confirmed that they would go ahead with trying out their breakthrough plan of having different skippers for each game, at a press conference held in South Africa.
