Japanese Supermodel, Yuri Ebihara, appears in an ad for Fujifilm‘s new digital camera FinePix Z250fd.
The Japanese supermodel is also known as Ebi-chan. Ebi (short e like in net, and bee) is a shortened version of her last name and -chan (pronounced chahn) is an affectionate form of -san. Like in Fuji-san.
Yuri Ebihara was Japan’s top model for CanCam magazine – CanCam = “I Can Campus”, readers will become leaders on their school’s campus. That magazine is for 18-23 year olds. But, now that Ebihara is an older woman at 29-years old, she appears in another magazine AneCan targeted at older women. Ane (ah ne-like in net) means older sister.
