It is Indian Domestic Players Who Are At Disadvantage in IPL2009

The opening two games of IPL2 have brought forth one dark reality about the Indian players who comprise more than 50 percent of each IPL team.

 

This is about their inability to adapt to the remarkably different conditions that are being encountered in South Africa.

 

But it would be wrong to blame them for this — the IPL schedule changed at the last moment and these players have had no time to make preparations and their preparatory games too were very restricted.

 

Now, it is looking like that IPL teams with more Indian players who have had some level of international experience, including ex-players, might just steal the edge.
