IPL2 2009 Tickets Selling Like Crazy
All the eight venues in South Africa that are scheduled to host matches for the second leg of IPL2009 have recorded an unbelievable response at the ticket counters.
Many of the tickets have been bought by the Gujarati community that has been settled in South Africa for many centuries.
Similarly, many Indian families settled overseas are beginning to descend in South Africa as a part of their summer vacation.
It appears that supporting teams from their states back home in India is being looked upon as a way of re-connecting with their motherland.
Mr. Lalit Modi has confirmed that the response has been beyond expectations so far and nearly 90% of the tickets have been already sold.
