However, when it comes to 2009 ODI statistics (so far) for one-day rankings, the Kangaroos are the worst-performing team in terms of winning percentage.

They are ranked at the bottom among the nine major Test/ODI playing nations.

Further, their winning percentage is about 33%, which is at par with Pakistan and even lower than that of West Indies.

And you still have their skipper — Ponting, gloating about the fact that his is a team that ‘heralds’ the next generation of Aussie cricket.
