If the first two matches of the IPL 2009 are an indication, then this could be the season of the veterans of the Indian team making their T20 critics look absolutely foolish.

 

The much experienced (and aged) Kumble hogged the limelight as he became the few bowlers who have claimed a five-wicket haul, in a T20 match, on Saturday.

 

On the other hand, Tendulkar and Dravid scored brilliant, match-winning half-centuries to ensure that their teams won their respective first matches.

 

Will Ganguly be able to follow suit and continue the trend as the KKR get ready to take on the Deccan Chargers?
