Stefania Fernandez Representing Venezuela at Miss Universe 2009
Stefania Fernandez will be representing Venezuela at the 58th Miss Universe Pageant – 2009.
Stefania hopes to have the title passed on to her from last year’s winner, Dayana Mendoza also of Venezuela.
Stefania will be just 18 years young when the pageant takes place.
She is 5′10″ (178cm) tall and has brown eyes and hair. She won the “Miss Elegance”, “Best Body” and “Best Face”, titles at Miss Venezuela 2008.
Stefanía is Ukrainian, Galician and Polish in origin.
She likes to play tennis and swim.
It is estimated that the Miss Universe Pageant brings in more than $1 billion in free advertising for the host country. There is TV exposure, some 15, 000 tourists who follow the pageant around each year. However a government needs to pony up some $20 million or so to the Donald to get the rights to host the beauties.

I could never be more impressed with or amazed at Venezuelan beauty queens. I’m a Filipino and yes, we have our own delegates from the Philippines to such international pageants as Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss World, or Miss International, but then I can’t help admiring Miss Venezuela during every annual competition. I was viewing Stefania Fernandez and Hannely Quintero on YouTube yesterday and boy, was I impressed and amazed again! For sure, Stefania is going to bring home the bacon, be it as a runner-up, a finalist, or the winner! (ariel_allera@yahoo.com)

yes its an admission that latinas really dominates, but it seems the situation is always change, this year PHILIPPINES has it strong contender in person of PAMELA BIANCA MANALO 5′10\ in height w/perfect figure, a smart woman and i have no doudt for her because i saw her already during BBP 2009, win or loss i am still with my countrymen, sometimes my instinct made true. I beleive PAMELA will get through the CROWN…
