Rachael Finch will represent Australia at the Miss Universe 2009, which will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009

Rachael Finch was born in Sydney, Australia but raised in Townsville, north of Queensland, Australia.

Finch was in controversy that almost dethroned her from the Miss Universe Australia title, she was also in an alligator incident just a few days before leaving for the Bahamas
