The N64 has been gone for two Nintendo console iterations so far, but the main aim for the portable version that the company never created still goes on.

Across the years we have come close with homemade creations, but just recently modder Zenloc claims, that they have the world’s smallest at 120 x 200 x 50mm.

But as many realise thats not the case, the Retro 64 mod from earlier around this year is a little smaller, but you would need to have huge pockets to call that pocket-size.

Its pretty sad that this one has ditched its D-pad just to get off a few inches, not that it looks bad.

I modded my N64 controller just about a week ago. I replaced a lot of buttons, and replaced them with custom buttons and grip more nicely. Before putting the buttons in, i took everything out of the n64 controller, (the wires and circuit board) and spray painted it chrome white. after doing that, I got a buddy of mine to make a better analog stick, plastic, covered with rubber. I might sell it for atleast 30-40 bucks soon with my N64.
