Toto Toilets and Daiwa House Develop Health-Check Toilet System

Toto Toilets (Toto Ltd) and Daiwa House have developed a toilet system that will check your health for you.

A little moveable cup will scoop up your urine. It will calculate body temperature and urine sugar in seconds.

The toilet doctor also has a bathroom scale and blood pressure cuff incorporated into the system’s floor. The results can be seen on a monitor on the toilet.

The cost above what the toilet goes for is Y350K-610K ($3500-6000).

The Toto Toilets system will be sold as an option to Daiwa House’s new homes.

In loo (spelling mistake intended) of slowing housing sales Toto hopes to make more by offering a system that families can use for better health management.

Imagine…from now on, kids in Japan will have to bring their toilet readings to the breakfast table before mom decides what to give them for breakfast.

Seems like I saw that in a movie somewhere.
