Fuji Xerox Offers Fastest Toner-Based Printer
Fuji Xerox Co. has developed the world's fastest toner-based printer.
The machines use light instead of heat to affix toner to paper and cuts paper rolls AFTER printing.
The result – 450 A4 (almost 8.5 x 11) size pages per minute.
The printer will be available in Japan this spring at a very hot price of 200 million ($1.6 millionish).
Fuji Xerox has a sales target of 300-400 within three years. I reckon anyone
would like to sell 300-400 of anything at $1.6 million each, no?
Fuji xerox has a Japanese domestic share of more than 50%. But Canon Inc. is making the $8 billion digital printer market more competitive.
So…who would need to print 450 color pages a minute?
And, how often would the toner need to be changed? Every 40 secs or so?
I remember waiting minutes for one color copy. Fuji xerox can do more than 7 per sec…if the toner can keep up AND if you are a big company that can afford the machine.

One type of copier that seems to work quite well is the Canon Copier.The Canon copier has been around for some time now and it has proven that its products are all excellent choice to have for a variety of business types.

Many offered me a toner based printer and I cannot decide which one should I have to buy because each of them told me that the printer based toner they are using is the good one and it made me headache what to choose.
