Youtube Learns to Speak Japanese

It is easy enough to find Japanese programs uploaded on to the popular video-sharing web site, Youtube.

I've not uploaded any…but I have seen a few.

A host of media associations and companies in Japan, 23 in all, including Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan and the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan – have asked Youtube to do something...to do something and to give them the names and addresses of those who upload video files.

Youtube responded by agreeing to post Japanese-language warnings. Wow! Now that is sure to stop them in their tracks.

Youtube also said they would be glad to come to Japan for some real sushi if the association would like to talk to some of their (Youtube's) senior execs.

It is not likely that the warning alone is going to make a difference…..

What do you think?
