Why Cats Are Smarter Than Dogs

I am a dog man so I hate to admit that cats are smarter than man's best friend.

But they are.

Tokyo's Cat Cafe is evidence of the fact.

It's a place where people can drop in just to mingle with cats and have a cup of tea.

And, why anyone would want to do that is beyond me. Mingle with cats that is.

Visitors bay money ($7/hrish) to hang out with the cats, read comics or just chill.

Calico in Tokyo cets 70 visitors a day and 150 or so on weekends.

Let's see – 70 visitors X $7/hr times 3-4 hours x 5 days + 150 X $7 X 3-4 x days = a whole lot of money wasted on cats.

The cats lay around, purr if they feel like it, get petted if they want, and enjoy the fake fresh air.

If it were dogs…the Fidos would have to beg, roll over, speak, shake and cook dinner for attention.

Yup, cats are smarter than dogs…they get what they want without having to work for it.
