An unemployed man in Osaka has been charged for throwing a 3-year old boy from a pedestrian overpass.

The little fellow was seriously injured but survived.

Prosecutors said the man hurled the little tike from the overpass to vent his dissatisfaction with relations he had with other people at a vocational training facility.

When asked, the 41-year old defendant replied, "I did hurl the boy, but I don't know why I did such a thing."

The question: Why would a man throw a 3-year old boy from a pedestrian overpass?

The answer: nobody knows.

What rational reason could there be for a person to hurl a helpless little fellow off a bridge?
