Meathope in Japan conspired to mislabel about 140 tons of minced beef meet mixed with other kinds of meet.
The company says the meat was pure beef and sold it as such for over one year.
Investigators took samples of the meat and found that some of them contained NO beef at all.
The lable was missing a word 100% Lacking Beef.
The meat contained chicken, rabbit, duck, pork, mutton….but no beef.
The company made some $500K off of sales of the faux Nellie products.
What I wonder is, what was that white stuff they got out of the animals that were NOT cows…
