Where Japan’s Government Spends its Money

There are nine areas of Japan’s budget that benefit from abt 1% or more of Japan’s national budget.

9. Economic Cooperation = .9%

8. Energy and major foodstuff measures = 1.4%

7. Pension = 1.3%

6. Defense = 5.9%

5. Education and science = 7%

4. Public works = 9.2%

3. Local Allocation tax grants = 19.6%

2. National debt expenditures = 22.4%

and

1. Social Security = 24.8%

And with the Japanese living the longest in the world and less people getting married, this expenditure is surely going to go up with less people to put money into the coffers.
