Toyota, Sony, Nintendo Climb BusinessWeek’s Best Global Brands Rankings

Coca-Cola is the most recognized brand in the world for the seventh straight year according to BusinessWeek's annual ranking of the Best Global Brands for 2007.

Microsoft is number two.

IBM is number three.

Toyota, however, is coming after them….up to number six from last year's number seven. Toyota's Lexus brand also ranked at number 92.top%20100.gif

Other climbers included Google, up to 20th from 24th and Apple, up to 33rd from 39th.

Japan's biggest climber was Nintendo, up to

44th from 51st.

Sony climbed one notch to 25th.

Honda maintained the number 19 position.

Descenders included Ford – to 41st from 30th and Nissan to 98th from 90th.
