Toyota Boshoku Will Build Auto Interior Plant in Mississippi

Toyota Boshoku Corp will build a new auto interior plant in Mississippi.

The plant will supply products to a sport utility vehicle plant that Toyota Motor Corp. is building there.

Toyota Boshoku will spend $80 million on the new facility, a 31,000 square meter plant.

Seats, door trim and floor carpeting will be made for the Highlander SUV which will be built some 25 miles to the northwest of Fulton.toyota.boshoku.jpg

Some 500 people will get jobs that will generate more than $200 million in sales annually.

Toyota gets a lot of good will and will make some money.

The seat plant will be in operation around 2010 under the wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Boshoku Mississippi LLC.
