Tokyo Gets Shaken Awaken

I don’t think I got the title right, but perhaps you get the idea.

Tokyo was awakened this morning by a 5.0 quake.

According to Tokyo’s meterological agency, the quake struck at 6:38am.

There was no danger of tsunami. BTW, tsunami is one of the few original Japanese words that have made it into the mainstream English language – kimono, sumo, sushi…

The archipelago of Japan sits on the outer edge of a super volcano. Japan also sits atop four tectonic plates, making it very earthquake-prone.japan sea super volcano.jpg

Not only does Japan shake a lot, there are hot springs galore – evidence of the volcano that sits beneath it perhaps?

Anyway,…on a business trip…if you forget to shake your medicine, no problem, the country will likely shake it for you.
