Tokyo Asks China to Label Exports
Tokyo has asked China for its cooperation. Businessmen being businessmen and doing what they need to make a buck…at all costs, sometimes, Tokyo suspects the DPRK of trying to pass its goods to Japan via China.
As a result, Tokyo has asked China to label all of its exports with certificates identifying the country of origin.
And…excuse me, but does Tokyo think that’s going to work?![]()
The DPRK is apt to lie and have their Chinese counterparts swear to it. Seriously.
Why doesn’t Japan refuse to do business with Chinese companies that do business with the DPRK?
But then…if the DPRK wants to get their products to market in Japan and there are businessmen in China or any country for that matter…the products will find a way.
Where there’s a will (business) there are unscrupulous people who will find a way.
What do you think?
