Tepco to Sell Internet Service Provider

Tepco is under fire. No, it's Tepco's nuclear power plants that caught on fire.

The managment or mismanagment of information and status after the fact is what has brought the company under fire.

Perhaps TEPCO, Tokyo Electric Power Co. was too busy over there – making money on Dream Train Internet Inc., and Internet service provider.

Not any more. Tepco will sell Dream Train to FreeBit Co. for 5.6 billion yen.

Last month, Tepco put its fixed-line telephone service up for sale, too. dream.train.jpg

DreamTrain inc. was started in 1995 and has

400,000 subscribers and group sales of 16.2 billion and operating profit of 600,000 million ($5 million).

The company makes $5 million a year…and they are selling it.

To concentrate more on their nuclear power division?

Let's hope so.
