Sunglasses Create Movie Viewing Experience

A Japanese company, Scalar Corp. has designed a pair of sunglasses that when worn can be used to watch movies as if they were 6 feet in front on a 45 inch screen.

The Teleglass T4 sunglasses are connected to a portable digital music player or some other device with video playback.

Something on the nosepiece of the glasses projects the movie to the eyes through a five sided lens. Sound comes through integrated earphones.scalar.jpg

Now those long commuters can look forward to watching a flick enroute.

Price tag: 100,000 yen. Weight; 40 grams.

There are tons of business people who commute 1-2 hours ONE WAY to get to work.

I wonder if the 'sunglasses' will keep the sun out of their eyes, too.
