Sony Has 3 Lines of Portable Video Players for China

Next month, Sony Corp. will start marketing three lines of portable video players in China, two of which were developed at its Chinese base in Shanghai.

China already has a busload of portable players, but Sony thinks it can take its world #1 brand name and a product and make it appealing to the Chinese.

The PMX-M70 has a 4.3 inch screen and the PMX-U50 has a 2.4 inch screen.

Both have stereo speakers so crowds can view them.

How many people can watch a 4 inch screen at one time anyway?nw.a800.jpg

The PMX-M70 can also be hooked up to a television.

Sony's NW-A800, already on sale in Japan is headed for U.S and Europe.

Do you like to watch things on a portable player with such a small screen?
