Social Networking Service for under-18s Set Up for Safe Internet Surfing

A social networking site was set up that is restricted to users under 18 years of age.

The site is called Toyst and is free for users….and abusers.

In the past, children could only use social networking services by interacting with adults also.

Now, the children can wonder if the person they are interacting with is really under 18-years old.

How CAN they be sure, I wonder?

A list of about 4,000 words have been banned. Are there any words left that they can use?

Users report their date of brith and the school

they attend. All the better to KNOW you with said the big bad wolf.

Protecting children from the evils of the Internet is the parents' job.

Toyst sounds to me like a place ripe for picking by perverts.
