Shibuya School Girl Announces Intention to Commit Suicide to Japanese Education Ministry

A Japanese school girl has sent two letters to the Japanese Education Ministry saying she intends to commit suicide on November 11th.

She writes, "I am being bullied. I can’t forgive the people who bullied me. I saw the boy’s suicide threat on TV, which encouraged me."

She is second year high school student in Shibuya.

Somebody do something.

Police have been dispatched in Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa and Chiba to see if there have been any cases of bullying that match the girl’s.suicide.jpg

Bullying has always been a problem in Japan and it warrants a discussion as to why, in a separate post.

But, for now, hopefully they will find this young lady before it’s too late.

In my opinion, and it is mine, the system should be looked at hard; the more I hear about bullying in Japanese schools the more ridiculous I feel their board of education really is. They set the highest standards for their children, and than expect them to fend for themselves because it’s how they had to live when they were children. It’s really immature; better the children’s future by destroying the bullying; better the children’s future by lowering the standards. Japan has the highest suicide rate, and really is a no wonder. The Ministry is going to have to pull the sticks from their asses and start paying attention to their children, and their safety.
