Sharp Corp. reported that profits were up 27.5% in the first half of this year.

The Japanese electronics maker made money selling flat-panel TVs and the proprietary equipment needed to make them.

Net income was about $400 million compared to abt $300 million last year.sharp.jpg

The company is predicting it will make about $800+ million this year.

Is it my imagination or are the numbers for the Sharps, Sonys, Toshibas, Nissans and such getting bigger and bigger and ?

Sharp credited its growth partially to Japan’s steady economic recovery and the growing economies in Asia and Europe.

The better the conditions of the neighbors the more likely they are to come shopping at your store, eh?

What do you think?
