Series, Japan’s Hottest Girls – # 13 – Ayumi Hamasaki

IMHO, as much as I have an affinity for Japan I think Japan does not have the taste that China does. It is quite apparent when the ‘Hottest Girls’ in the two countries are compared.

China chooses mature girls/women, asks them to leave their clothes ON and then popularizes them based on ability, not just appearance….usually.

Japan’s quality is low. The girls (not women) are called idols, adult video stars. Some, however, are legitimate singers and models or TV drama stars.

At any rate, Japan goes for cute…not beautiful. It strikes me as a bit weird. But, it’s Japan’s culture and who am I to judge.
