Robot Snakes Swim at “Water Robot Convention”
Japan can do robots…part II.
About 40 teams from universities, companies and high schools (got that? high schools) displayed their inventions at the "water robot convention" being held in Tokyo.
A 175cm-long snake developed by the Tokyo Institute of Technology, and an eel created by Tokyo University of Science were among the more popular robots.
The snake can wiggle its way through the water and the eel can move in a small circle.![]()
I am not sure what good a snake robot will come to…controlling oil spills maybe?
Never mind…Japan can do robots….part II.
What would you like a robot to do for you?
