Question # 36 – Will my pc/mac work there?

Though most Japanese prefer a PC, Macs work, too.

Why wouldn’t they?

Of course, support will be proportionate though perhaps a bit less than you might find in the States where Macs are more prevalent.

In short, whatever you can do on your PC or Mac in your home country, you can do in Japan.

Leave your iPhone at home, however.

Besides, Japanese cell phones are so far more advanced than elsewhere, the

iPhone could be considered 2G when the Japanese are already pushing for 4G models.

I learned how to use a PC in Japan on an NEC PC with a Japanese OS, Lotus andesl.japan.gif Ichitaro. The thing NEVER, EVER, EVER crashed.

I’ll take a PC with a Japanese OS in it EVERY time.

Hang on. I have to reboot before I post this, my Dell crashed.

What’s your experience with PCs and Macs in Japan?
