NOVA English Language Chain to Shut Down Schools?

NOVA English language school has more than 900 schools in Japan.

Soon, it will have 100-200 less.

NOVA came under fire of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry which issued a partial business suspension over the company's practices.

As a result, the company is being forced to cut costs, trim and merge unprofitable schools.

Teachers will be out on their ears.

NOVA is not a popular place to work for foreign teachers in Japan.nova.english.japan.jpg

Not a few instructors find themselves in Japan after NOVA does the hard work of getting them a visa and such. However, once in Japan, the teachers bolt for better working conditions.

Not only does it seem that NOVA mistreats its students…but its staff as well.
