Nissan Offers Lead-laced Mug from China for Test-Drive

Somebody in China will be responsible for some 'good will' being spread in Japan today.

Nissan Motors had to recall tens of thousands of mugs it gave away in Japan to test-drivers because the paint on them contained excessive amounts of lead.

Can you spell l-a-w-s-u-i-t?

Nissan is estimating that the number of mugs given away to potential, um,

China has been taking a hit lately – toys, toothpaste, seafood, tires….and now free coffee mugs.

How much do you figure this is going to cost Nissan in lost sales?
