More Ill Will Between North Korea and Japan

Police from Sado Island, off the coast of Niigata, Japan, have issued a warrant for the arrest of a suspected North Korean abductor.

The North Korean female agent is believed to be in her 70s or 80s now.

However, in her heyday, about 30 years ago the woman is suspected of having abducted a Japanese national.north korean abductor.jpg

The Japanese Foreign Ministry has requested the North Korean Embassy in Beijing to hand the woman over.

The abductee, Soga Hitomi, was 19 at the time of the abduction. She was repatriated to Japan in October 4 years ago.

Soga’s mother was abducted at the same time and remains missing.

North Korea admitted to abducting 13 Japanese nationals. Five have come back and the DPRK says the other 8 have died.

Japan says that 16 Japanese have been abducted.

I remember when a little girl went missing at a neighboring village when I lived in Niigata. The word on the street was that North Korea had abducted her, too.

There were posters everywhere to that affect.

The little girl turned up last year. She had been kidnapped and held captive in a closet by another Japanese pervert living in a nearby city.

The DRPK is bad…but they are not guilty of everything, I think.

There is enough bad will between Japan and North Korea. Do they need more?

What do you think?
