More Good New For Japan’s Economy
Japan's economy got two shots in the arm yesterday.
Consumer prices were up for the fifth month in a row.
The jobless rate was down in October- now 4.1% or 2.81 million out of work. It was the 11th month in a row o
f drops in the unemployment rate.
Japan does not have a month to lead up to Christmas like western companies do.
But, Japan has a tradition of buying year end gifts for co-workers and others who have shown them some kindness.
Additionally, companies shell out the second half of employee bonuses in December, equal to 1-3 months salary.
There is still plenty of buying, selling, shopping and giving to go on in Japan before the end of the year.
More good news for Japan, eh?
