Microsoft Xbox 360 Gets Cute

Microsoft Corp. thinks it can do the Nintendo Wii thing.

Plans in Japan are for the Xbox 360 to have titles that target families and novices to video games.

The fun stuff will be:

1. a movie trivia game

2. a game where players compete against each other using imaginary animals

Oh, boy!

Xbox 360 users will also be able to watch movies distributed by Walt Disney Co.

And, afterwards, they can play a game of trivia

on the movie they just watched.

How many dwarves did Snow White befriend?

Nintendo, meanwhile, will "release new yoga, exercise and weight control software that uses mats able to detect the user's weight and body position."

Will Microsoft try to copy that, too?
