Meet 10-year old Gabi Wilson

And, I thought that Japanese mothers could be overbearing. We call them “kyoiku mamas“. Education moms – those trying to squeeze every last ounce of extra out of thir kids.
10-year old Gabi Wilson’s father pushes Gabi to play and sing. Living vicariously perhaps? He is a professional musician in Blues and Jazz.

Her mother pushed her to publish her first book… a book of poetry. (At 10?!) Who has anything to say at 10?

And mom organizes and galvanizes friends and family for all Gabi events.

Gabi first appeared at the Listen & Be Heard Poetry Café where she sang “her rendition of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You” (both piano and vocals).”

Gabi comes from Vallejo, in the Bay Area of California.

Meanwhile, the LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors stepped in on the exploitation of a little girl.

And, we thought the Japanese moms could be overbearing, not to mention Chinese moms, too.
