McPorky!? in Japan

McDonald's Japan plans a two all pork patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese pickles, onions on a sesame bun…or something close to it.

The McPork burger will be made from U.S. pork and be available in Japan starting next week, July 23rd.

It will NOT be big Mac size. Instead it will find its way on to the 100 yen (82cent) menu and will be spiced up with garlic and black pepper sauce – yum!

McPorky will take the place of McChicken which will no longer be sold.mcpork.jpg

I reckon it doesn't matter to me…if it starts with Mc…I'm not eating it.

In fact, the last time I ate at McDonald's was when I

was in Japan. I took my kids to one when McDonald's first entered the country and finally opened a branch in the back country of Niigata where I lived.

My kids still haven't forgiven me.

FWIW, McDonald's Japan does taste better than its McD's counterparts in the states.

But, then what do I know…it's been 20 years since I tried one here in the U.S.

Do you do McDonald's?
