Market Share: Top 5 ADSL Services in Japan

The market for ADSL (asymmetric digital subscriber line) broadband service in Japan SHRANK for the first time ever to 14.01 million users at the end of last year.

It's peak year, 2005, was 3.5% higher.

Fiber optics servives are expanding rapidly…so, gosh, who needs ADSL?

Japan's top three service providers are all shifting to fiber optic services.

Of the top five ADSL service providers, only two increased market share – eAccessadsl.japan.jpg did so because the company wholesales ADSLO circuits to Internet service providers and offers low-cost plans.
