Foreign Visitors to Japan Set Record in 2007

A Japan Justice Ministry report says about 9.15 million foreigners visited Japan in 2007.

That's a 12.9 percent increase from 2006.

In 2003, the official "Visit Japan Campaign" was launched with the aim to double the number of tourists coming from outside Japan to 10 million by 2010.
