Macau will get Hotel Okura

Japanese visitors heading to Macau to gamble are growing at an annual rate of 30%.

Japan's Hotel Okura Co. will be happy to accommodate them from September of 2009.

The luxury hotel will begin offering about 400 rooms on behalf of a Hong Kong entertainment firm Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd.

Galaxy Entertainmentis investing about Y140 billion in Macau by 2008 to:

1. build casinos

2. build hotels.

On the same plot of land for Hotel Okura's new hotel will be a casino and a spa.

It will be Hotel Okura's 10th overseas location.
